DC10, Bora Bora, Amnesia Shut Down
The Government has closed down three of the island´s institutions: Bora Bora and Amnesia for one month each and DC10 for two months.
According to authorities these actions are a necessary response to reports from local police and Guardia Civil of the use and sale of drugs in these clubs during the 2005/2006 seasons.
Everyone in Ibiza – and those planning holidays here – will be hoping for a reprieve, as will the owners, promoter, workers, and DJs whose livelihoods rely on the clubs.
What dates are they being closed between?

I have been to Ibiza 3 years in a row now and have spend a quite a bit of time in these clubs and beaches which are concerned.
I have not found that activities stated such as the above were going on, and even if they were it would not concern me or any one else that is not interested in these activities.
I have seen from year to year the amount tourists increase and the number of people having fun and enjoying their holidays in such a beautiful place has just put me off track with life as we dont have anything like this in any other part of the world.
Closing these beaches and clubs will just put a negative affect to tourism industry to the island.
The island was designed for parties and fun holidays lets hope the authorities dont destroy our happy holiday lifestyle on this island.
If the authorities were so eager to do something, then police it the correct way, why close a place? the drugs will only be moved to another place….it does not fix the problem, it only motions it to another place.
