Tourist figures up to the end of August have been finally released. Ibiza registered an increase of 12.6% the highest within the Balearics islands with a total of 1,445,094 passengers arrived until 31st August.
The highest increase was in the month of August, which saw 16% more than the previous year. The British market is still number one (+10%) followed by Spanish tourists (+39%). The Italian market is now the third strongest with 206,528 arrivals but recording a fall of 0.9% from last year.
