Lcd Soundsystem will perform at Ibiza Rocks in San Antonio the next 8th of July.

Carl Cox is joined throughout July, August and September by an untouchable line-up, including Detroit techno pioneer Derrick May, Drum and Bass innovator Goldie and the unique musical figure that is Green Velvet. Carl’s season on the Island in ’06 even won him the esteemed ‘Best Ibiza Club Night’ at the Ibiza DJ awards. A sure indication of how the night has progressed over the years and of course, the direction it is heading.

Derrick May will be (finally) back to Ibiza the next Tuesday 7th of August hosted by Carl Cox at Space.

“Of the Belleville Three, the cadre of early Detroit producers who tested the limits of spirit within electronic dance music and changed the integrity of the form forever, Derrick May’s reputation as an originator remained intact despite more than a decade of recording inactivity. And though his release schedule all but halted during the 1990s, he continued DJing around the world and honed Transmat into one of the most respected techno labels in the world.”

New York based promoters DefMix, home of superstar house Djs of the likes of Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Satoshi Tomie, and Hector Romero will be hosted again at Pacha on Saturday night slot opening the next 9th of June.

The 30th of June DefMix have booked Jeff Mills and Frankie Knuckles, two heavy weights to play under the same roof for a gig to not miss.

German (but Ibiza based) promoters Monza are moving their innovative Thursday night parties to Privilege opening Thursday 21st of June. Born at now closed Penelope club in 2005, Monza was hosted at Space on the new terrace last year. Keep checking our blog for Monza full Djs line up in the next weeks.

Manumission secured British DJ/remixer/producer Tom Middleton (aka Cosmos/Amba) as Dj resident every Friday at Privilege.

Middleton is involved in electronic music since 1989 after meeting Richard D. James, better known as Aphex Twin, in Cornwall, England. His breakthrough came after he joined Mark Pritchard on a series of production projects — including work as Reload, Global Communication, Link & e621, and Jedi Knights — beginning in 1992 and released on their labels Evolution and Universal Language. GILLES PETERSON is the music visionary who coined the term “acid jazz” then went on to found TALKIN’ LOUD, the label that has brought us the UNITED FUTURE ORGANIZATION, GALLIANO, NUYORICAN SOUL, RONI SIZE, 4 HERO, and CARL CRAIG’S INNERZONE ORCHESTRA.
The gig in Ibiza is planned for the 31st of July (Tuesday) at Space (very probably on the terrace).
Last year it was great dancing to his rare jazzy tunes at Space, the atmosphere was incredible…
